Recently I saw the movie OZ. Succinctly, and without giving anything away, it’s about the wizard from his point of view. As usual, I was able to find some inspiration in this movie. In my heart of hearts, I found it to be about finding the leader within. Trusting you have all the answers and knowing innately that your next step is just a direction not a decision etched in stone.
What does it mean to find the leader within and having all the answers? Does it mean you are a know it all? No, it means you are an expert, an expert on you. So what is so great about being an expert on you? It’s about knowing yourself; knowing your desires, your wants, and your happiness sweet spot. This is the all powerful you that gets to choose freedom. It puts you front and center of your life. You get to then step into your power and lead. Lead from what you know to be true, lead from a place of confidence. Lead from a place of true humble authority, for leading means leading from a power of strength not a power of dictatorship.
There’s strength in leadership. There’s only weak power in authority. The wizard in Oz finds that his leadership is worth more than authority. He finds there are more answers when you are keenly aware of who you are and comfortable with the leader within.
Who is the leader within you begging to be released? Do you trust who you are? Do you trust you have all the answers you need? Find the leader and see how high you can fly and maybe, just maybe, you will land in the land of OZ, the land of leadership.
